13:45 Ascot – Badri

I’ve landed on Badri for Julie Camacho and Ryan Sexton. He ran on really well at Epsom last time out and I’m not sure that’s his track. Ryan is his regular jockey and he’s dropped down 2lbs after his run at Epsom.

14:00 York – Brunch

Brunch is a dual winner at York and he rarely runs a bad race. He’s off a mark of 92, which is the lowest he’s been for four years. He’s worth chancing for Michael Dods back at a track that he loves.

14:20 Ascot – Quddwah

Quddwah has won all three of his starts and the form has held up. I can’t go against him for Simon and Ed Crisford.

14:35 York – Yefimenko (each way)

I’m interested in Yefimenko, who is being sent over by Ger Lyons. She looked quick on her first two starts at the Curragh and Bellewstown. She won easily last time out and I’m hoping the track and ground will suit her. She’s worth chancing at a decent price.

14:50 Newmarket – Treasure Time

I’m with Treasure Time, who showed a great attitude last time when winning at Newmarket. He’s only gone up 4lbs for that win, which seems lenient from the handicapper. William Haggas’ horses are flying at the moment. He’s lightly raced and there’s plenty more to come from him.

15:10 York – Flying Frontier (each way)

I’ve landed on Flying Frontier and I’m hoping the step back up to 1m2f will suit him. He’s off a mark of 95 and the slightly better ground should be perfect. It’s a hard race to call so he’s a tentative each-way shout.

15:25 Newmarket – Pentle Bay (each way)

Ancient Truth is short in the betting but both of his wins came on good to firm ground. It’ll be a little softer on Saturday at Newmarket so I’m with Pentle Bay. He got up late and won at Leicester on his debut before finishing second behind Bedtime Story in the Chesham at Royal Ascot. He’s a solid each-way pick.

15:45 York – Klondike

Klondike should confirm the form from his win against Salt Bay last time out at York. This trip suits him well and he’ll definitely stay. He’s a tentative pick to take on Al Qareem.

16:00 Newmarket – Yorkshire (each way)

Carrytheone is the favourite but he’s short for a race like this with 20 runners. I’m with Yorkshire at a big each-way price. He’s better than his mark of 88 and he’s got more upside than a lot of his rivals in here. Ed Bethell is a decent trainer and I like to keep his runners on side.

16:35 Newmarket – Inisherin

Inisherin is the most likely winner. He’s in control of his races and his wins at Haydock and Royal Ascot were solid. He has a lot going for him and I’m not too afraid of the older runners in here.
