Tentative preference is for LOVE GAMES, who shaped promisingly last time. Newmarket raider Griselda is second choice, ahead of Off The Bench. None of the other runners can be ruled out in a typically tricky early nursery.

15:25 Lingfield – Mister Mojito (Newmarket)

Ten Commitments is on the up and is unexposed at 7f so he needs consideration, while Never Dream (second choice), Royal Tapestry and All Agleam also have something to recommend them. MISTER MOJITO came up short in a Class 4 at Newmarket last month, but his earlier Yarmouth win marked him down as one to keep on the right side of.

17:35 Uttoxeter – Rathmacknee (Spotlight)

Get Up Mush jumped well in the main and did it cosily on his recent chase debut so he’s an obvious contender along with Stratford winner Golfe Clair. Another to consider is RATHMACKNEE who ran a positive first race over fences at Ffos Las when finding 2m too sharp a test.

19:25 Brighton – Top Button (The Sun)

River Wharfe and Clear Justice both won at the same meeting here a fortnight ago and hold major claims again, even if there is a slight question mark against both over the trip on a soft surface. It may be worth giving another chance to TOP BUTTON who shaped as though the return to 1m would suit when a close second at Lingfield last time.
