Five meetings are scheduled across the tracks in the UK and Ireland today – and our nifty NAPs Table is here to steer you on the day’s best bets.

There is further Class 2 action courtesy of the Veterans’ Handicap Chase (14:45) which features the likes of Cloudy Glen and Good Boy Bobby.

Ludlow stages the afternoon’s other Jumps meeting as the Nicky Henderson-trained Arclight reverts to the small obstacles in the feature, the Class 2 EK Mowers & Machinery Mares’ Handicap Hurdle (14:03).

Switching codes and the Listed Hyde Stakes (19:10) at Kempton looks a belter as the likes of Dear My Friend, Flight Plan, Holloway Boy and Poker Face take aim at the £25,520 top prize. The Class 2 Winter Oaks Trial Fillies’ Handicap (13:20) leads the line at Lingfield and there is also all-weather action at Dundalk.
