17:35 Kempton – Tronido
C&D winner Valtellina went close back here last time and is a big player if this sets up for her closing style, but slight preference is for Simon Dow’s unexposed 3yo TRONIDO. She kicked off her handicap career with an emphatic front-running win at Lingfield three weeks ago and is open to more progress. Both Mammy and Crocus Time look interesting on this step back up in trip, while the handicap newcomers Mizuumi and Alabama Anna need a close look in the market.
18:00 Naas – Ginormous
It was a big step forward from GINORMOUS last time and the three-year-old can continue on his upward curve from a 2lb lower mark here. Phil’s Dream was running well in defeat on all-weather when last seen and should be involved if fit while the long-standing maiden Sosallycanwait has run well here before.

19:20 Ffos Las – Hallowed Time
It could pay to take a chance on the well-handicapped HALLOWED TIME bouncing back to form for a doubly represented Mark Loughnane. He ran some solid races on good ground in Ireland last summer for Eoghan O’Neill, so possesses the ability to stake a claim at this lowly level. Jax Edge and Aces Wild offer viable alternatives.
19:30 Naas – Bellezza
A fascinating Oaks trial with recent improver Fleur De Chine bidding for a hat-trick and the likes of Greenfinch and Grateful from Ballydoyle likely to continue their progress. However, BELLEZZA got a significant form boost from Birdman going close at Royal Ascot last week in the Queen’s Vase and she ought to go well for an in-form stable.

19:50 Ffos Las – Outer Edge
Despite a 6lb rise in the weights, Archie Watson’s Piper’s Fort (second choice) could prove capable of confirming Yarmouth placings with the newly cheekpieced Carmarthen. However, that same form of headgear appeared to suit OUTER EDGE at Lingfield, and he’s in exactly the right type of race to make his presence felt.
20:10 Kempton – Miss Dolly Rocker
The unexposed Assail is respected back from a break as is the progressive Waxing Gibbous despite a 6lb higher mark. Letaba is another for the shortlist but it may be worth taking a chance with MISS DOLLY ROCKER. Most of her recent starts have come over 1m including when winning here, but she stays further and her third in a strongly run race over C&D last November was a good effort. Sonnerie Power and Good Too are others worth a second look.
