Consistent in her last two starts over shorter when running on, TIFFANY MAE can make the breakthrough today raised in trip. Solar Drive can run well under his big weight but is probably more effective over further. Gregorina ran on nicely over 1m at Leopardstown last time and can go well up in trip.
18:25 Bath – Mythical Composer
There is not much between the three main protagonists on form and Nala Star could easily improve on her Lingfield debut but MYTHICAL COMPOSER came on a ton for a low-key first run when showing plenty at Goodwood since and he is preferred. Thecoffeepoddotco can figure again while Just Like Magic is an interesting beginner from a yard with an excellent strike-rate with 2yos on turf.
18:35 Windsor – Westridge
Destructive has the best piece of form but that was on dirt and he’s returning from a three-month absence. This may go to WESTRIDGE who was doing his best work late over Kempton’s 7f and, being from the family of Oaks winner Ezeliya, this step up to a mile can only benefit. Many of these are probably doing time before entering handicaps but Roi De France, Echo Lima and Drumstick are others who should have some say.
19:50 Ballinrobe – Desert Friend
Though beaten 4.5l by the re-opposing Mayo For Sam at Navan last time over 1m2f, DESERT FRIEND didn’t get the clearest of runs that day and can turn around the form on 8lb better terms over this longer trip. Recent winners Status Green and Charlie Luciano have to be respected.
20:00 Bath – Grey Owl
The unexposed pair Honrado (second choice) and GREY OWL make the most appeal. The Emma Lavelle-trained 4yo gets the nod with this longer trip likely to suit. Blue Hero goes well here and is another to consider while Made In China, who has improved for the fitting of blinkers, shouldn’t be far away off his low weight.
