NAP of the Day: Today’s NAPs Table of horse racing tips across the UK & Ireland

There are seven meetings scheduled across the tracks in the UK and Ireland today – and our nifty NAPs Table is here to give you a steer on the day’s best bets.

Our daily racing NAPs Table is your one-stop shop with all of today’s top tips from the cream of the British and Irish racing press. The tipsters are ranked by their profit or loss to Level Stakes so you know who has been firing in the winners and who, err, hasn’t.

The Group 1 Cairn Community Games Pretty Polly Stakes (15:30) tops the bill on the second day of the Irish Derby Festival at the Curragh. There are more British-trained runners than Irish in the eight-strong field including Bluestocking and Emily Upjohn. The Group 2 Airlie Stud Stakes (14:20) is the pick of the supporting races and Ballydoyle maestro Aidan O’Brien fields three – Easy Mover, January and Truly Enchanting.

The Northumberland Plate (15:10) is the big betting race of the afternoon as a maximum field of 20 runners take their chance in the marathon contest at Newcastle. The weights are headed by last season’s Cesarewitch third Tashkhan but there is a hat-trick seeker in the line-up in the form of Trooper Bisdee, trained by Sir Mark Prescott. There is also a cracking renewal of the Group 3 Chipchase Stakes (14:04) on the card as Kinross and Cold Case make their seasonal reappearances.

The ITV Racing cameras are also at Newmarket where the Group 3 Plantation Stud Criterion Stakes (15:25) is the pick of the action as Pogo bids to regain the crown. Chester, Doncaster, Lingfield and Windsor also stage Flat fixtures.
