Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:10 Doncaster – Albeseeingyer (The Times)

Having run a creditable race on her reappearance, prolific winner ALBESEEINGYER is taken to get off the mark for the season by beating Charencey and Priscilla’s Wish.

14:25 Salisbury – Ottoman Force (Spotlight)

The rematch between Orbital and Never Mind Me could go either way, with both open to further improvement in handicaps. OTTOMAN FORCE, who is interesting upped in trip and dropped in class, looks a plausible alternative while Rothay Park is also in the mix.

16:51 Gowran Park – Siege of Troy (The Irish Sun)

A Pretty Polly entry may be highly optimistic but SIEGE OF TROY would have won in another stride or two at Naas and that was a highly encouraging start. Given her 2yo form, it was a bit disappointing that Betula came up short at Down Royal but she looks ready for this longer trip. Henry De Bromhead runs two, with the long-time absent Thalara not entirely ruled out and getting away from heavy ground might help Quilieve who did go off favourite here last time.

17:15 Thirsk – Fox Legacy (Daily Express)

A competitive heat that includes many with scope to improve as they step up in distance. One such example is FOX LEGACY who shaped encouragingly on his return and makes his handicap debut here stepping up to 1m4f. Unexposed, he looks the most likely winner. Too Bossy For Us (second choice) won at Ascot last time on his handicap debut and may have more improvement in the tank. The top two on the card, Victory Shout and Align The Stars, are closely matched and may fight out for third place.
