Having run a creditable race on her reappearance, prolific winner ALBESEEINGYER is taken to get off the mark for the season by beating Charencey and Priscilla’s Wish.
14:25 Salisbury – Ottoman Force
The rematch between Orbital and Never Mind Me could go either way, with both open to further improvement in handicaps. OTTOMAN FORCE, who is interesting upped in trip and dropped in class, looks a plausible alternative while Rothay Park is also in the mix.
14:40 Doncaster – Cold Stare
This doesn’t look as strong at the first division and it looks to be another good opportunity for COLD STARE who has been in such good form this season. Buckshaw Village and Ayr Harbour are two other possibles.
14:55 Salisbury – Sayifyouwill
The vote goes to SAYIFYOUWILL, who is 1-1 over C&D and returns here off a workable mark. Snuggle, who remains well treated on peak form, is second choice ahead of Pumalin Park who looks interesting back down in trip/grade.
15:10 Doncaster – Saytarr
Not much form to go on and although Cabelleroso shaped well on his debut at Chester, slight preference is for SAYTARR, who is expected to improve markedly for his debut run at Yarmouth. Stenmark and Wolf Of Badenoch may prove best of the newcomers.
16:10 Doncaster – Great Max
This looks wide open. Al Marmar (second choice) made a promising start for Gemma Tutty when eighth in a big-field York handicap so is high on the list, while Speriamo, Ardbraccan and Abruzzo Mia all present persuasive cases too. But David O’Meara is enjoying an excellent season and his new recruit GREAT MAX is taken to build on his eyecatching Newmarket sixth and provide him with another winner.
17:00 Salisbury – Croeso Cymraeg
Expert Witness chased home a next-time-out winner two starts ago and bumped into a revitalised rival when a clear second off today’s mark at Newbury on Thursday. She can make her presence felt again but slight preference is for the veteran CROESO CYMRAEG, who runs this track well and has slipped to a good mark after two perfectly respectable efforts at Windsor this spring. On The Cards is not yet fully exposed and can also feature.
