13:50 York – Whimsy (each way)
14:05 Sandown – Bill Silvers
14:25 York – New Image
14:40 Sandown – Flora Of Bermuda (NAP)
15:00 York – Real Dream
15:20 Chester – Brunel Nation
15:35 York – Ziggy’s Condor

13:50 York – Whimsy (each-way)

I don’t know too much about Arrange, who finished fourth at York last time out. Instead, I’m siding with Whimsy as an each-way pick for Anthony McCann. He ran well last time out at Gowran Park over 1m1f but his run before that at Leopardstown was rock solid. He’s stepping back up to 1m4f and that should suit perfectly.

14:05 Sandown – Bill Silvers

Bill Silvers is drawn in stall one and he’s got a chance over this mile distance. I don’t think the further distance suited him at Redcar and Goodwood on his last two runs. He impressed when running over a mile at Newbury in April and he can impress again.

 

14:25 York – New Image

This is a difficult race to call and I’ve landed on New Image, who used to be with Ger Lyons. He’s now with David O’Meara and Mark Winn is taking off 3lbs. He’s going in the right direction and the 7f distance suits him.

14:40 Sandown – Flora Of Bermuda (NAP)

I was hoping Flora Of Bermuda would run here before declarations and luckily she is. She’s the most likely winner of a race that looks to have no obvious pick. I’ll side with Oisin Murphy and Andrew Balding.

15:00 York – Real Dream

I’m with Real Dream for Sir Michael Stoute. He ran really well at Newmarket last time out and he should have improved from that second-placed finish. He will have more race fitness so he can go very close.

15:20 Chester – Brunel Nation

Brunel Nation won two in a row before finishing fourth at Goodwood last time out. He’s drawn in stall seven and I don’t fancy any of the runners drawn on the inside. He didn’t get a clear run at Goodwood and he can go well in a competitive race.

15:35 York – Ziggy’s Condor

This is very competitive and I like Ziggys Condor. I don’t think he got 7f here in May and he’s dropping back to 6f on Saturday. He’s won over 6f before and the distance suits him. Joe Leavy is on board and claiming 5lbs too which is a bonus.
