13:50 York – Arrange

ITV Racing is back Saturday from York, Chester and Sandown starting here with a handicap for female amateur jockeys over 1m4f. ARRANGE should have a great each-way chance if repeating hid fourth in a big field at this track last time behind Dancing in Paris. My selection is 1lb lower here and can reverse form with Piecederesistance with Jody Townend a good jockey booking. My selection stays well which not all of these do.

14.05 Sandown – Terwada

Sandown coverage on ITV starts here with a handicap over 1m. The big question is can Dancing Magic make it 14th time lucky! I have to take him on for all that he can win. TERWADA might be the well handicapped horse here for Ed Walker and Tom Marquand. Go back to August of last year at this track and he was seventh in a big field off a mark of 96. He’s down to 90 now and the effort behind Sonny Liston at Newbury last time wasn’t awful just getting a little outpaced.

14.25 York – Aalto

Another handicap this time over 7f. It’s boring but AALTO should be in the first four at the very least for Ian Williams and Ryan Moore. The drop to 7f from 1m looks ideal after a fine fourth at Newbury when he found little close home and a second at Newmarket when doing the same at a huge price. A big weight to carry but this lightly raced type might well have more to offer in time.

14.40 Sandown – Adaay In Devon

The Listed Scurry Stakes for 3yo over 5f. Not my favourite type of races and ADAAY IN DEVON should take some stopping for Rod Millman and Silvestre De Sousa. The drop in trip should be ideal for a horse who scored over this distance at Bath three runs ago and he wasn’t disgraced at all over 6f at Newbury last time in a decent event taken by Royal Ascot hope Elite Status.

15.00 York – Real Dream

Here’s a Listed contest over 1m6f. A big chance for REAL DREAM who kept on well at this track over 1m4f when behind Scampi last season. The Sir Michael Stoute runner came back this term with a decent enough second at Newmarket to Maxi King and if coming up on a little for that should run a huge one now under Ryan Moore.

15.20 Chester – Blue Prince (each-way)

ITV show one race from Chester which is this handicap over nearly 1m. A wide open contest. BLUE PRINCE has nothing in hand of the handicapper but his third – when slightly unlucky – at Goodwood last time was a fair effort so he should have each-way claims here for Richard Kingscote and Dave Evans from a decent draw.

15.35 York – Ziggys Condor

A tricky sprint handicap over 6f. I’m happy to chance ZIGGYS CONDOR here for Richard Fahey and Joe Leavy who takes off a useful 5lb. My selection made his seasonal debut over 7f at this track and did really well to hunt up Diligent Resdev when headed close hime. He ran all his races as a juvenile over 6f and the drop back to that distance looks ideal. So best of luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. You hear me Paddy?
