13:50 Haydock – Live In The Dream

LIVE IN THE DREAM was a remarkable improver for the team last season and showed that it was no fluke with an excellent return effort over this course and distance. With that run under his belt he should be able to pop along up on the front end and keep on going this time, especially as the ground is due to ride much quicker than 14 days ago.

‌14:05 Beverley – Lift Lady (each-way)

LIFT LADY is going to be a ridiculous price and on her two races so far she’s not had any luck whatsoever. Last time at Epsom she was nearly put on the floor when it was getting to the business end and she must’ve shown plenty as she started favourite on her racecourse debut. She could get a slice of it at a massive price.

‌14:25 Haydock – Iron Lion

IRON LION showed how good he was at Doncaster, winning without breaking sweat but then didn’t get much luck last time admittedly. He does have to prove himself under slightly quicker conditions but in a field where he should get a good pace to run at. His hold-up tactics should prove perfect for the ‘Iceman’ Jamie Spencer.

14:40 Beverley – Regal Gem

REGAL GEM managed to win on his racecourse debut at Pontefract showing a really willing attitude. He comes back down in trip to a much sharper 5f, but that will prove no problem whatsoever and he can serve it up to the Richard Fahey-trained Moving Force in receipt of 2lbs from the top weight.

15:00 Haydock – Queen of The Pride

QUEEN OF THE PRIDE is bred to be very decent being out of a St Leger winner and showed a real likable attitude when chasing home with a battle-hardened rival at Goodwood last time out. Given the yard’s runners have been improving significantly for their return effort. She can take another step forward and register a Group 3 success.

15:15 Beverley – Zapphire

ZAPPHIRE has been a little hit-and-miss in her career so far, but there’s no getting away from the fact she didn’t get a clear passage when we saw her 36 days ago at Newcastle. Again it’s a given that Julie Camacho’s horses are trained very patiently and the selection can be expected to strip a good bit fitter on only her second try of the campaign.

15:35 Haydock – Popmaster (each-way)

POPMASTER is likely to go off a double-digit price and certainly doesn’t deserve to be that, judged on his natural ability over this 7f trip. He’s also not a million miles away from the top-rated runners in the line-up. There is loads of pace here and he should get an ideal tow into the contest behind the pace. He can hit the places and might even cause a massive upset.
