Nottingham 15:55 – Liberated Lad
Liberated Lad has a very good record when stepped up to around this 1m 6f distance and has proven himself equally effective on the turf. He brings in some strong form after a solid effort over course and distance. Despite a little nudge from the handicapper, he’s got to be in the shake up again.
Nottingham 16:25 – Brunch
Brunch may be getting a little older at seven, but there’s no doubting he now looks dangerously well handicapped off a very lowly looking mark of 94. He has a very strong record returning off an absence and he certainly won’t mind any cut in the ground.
Hamilton 16:40 – Fairbanks
Fairbanks must’ve been some sort of good thing when starting off handicapping from a rating of just 68 and he has continued to improve. That hasn’t stopped this season with an all-the-way success at Newcastle last time. He’s taken another hike from the assessor but has an unlimited amount of potential and looks as if he will be tough to pass.
Hamilton 17:10 – JM Jungle
JM Jungle looks to be coming to the boil nicely judged on his staying on effort over the flying 5f at York last time. He has already proven his ability to handle this course and distance. If he can keep tabs on the leaders down to the bottom of the hill, he will definitely power up it through the line.
Hamilton 18:40 – Ludos Landing
It’s a little while since they ran Ludos Landing back on the turf and he’s also dropped down from a peak rating of 81 to a current mark of 72. He has shown ability under all sorts of ground conditions so won’t mind if the rain arrives. With the stable having a couple runner in this line-up, it’s a positive that Joe Fanning gets the leg up.
