Six meetings are scheduled across the tracks in the UK and Ireland today – and our nifty NAPs Table is here to steer you on the day’s best bets.

Our daily racing NAPs Table is your one-stop shop with today’s top tips from the cream of the British and Irish racing press. The tipsters are ranked by their profit or loss to Level Stakes, so you know who has been firing in the winners and who, err, hasn’t.

A smashing field of nine runners tackle the first Grade 1 of the season in Britain, the Betfair Chase (15:05) at Haydock, including last year’s winner Royale Pagaille, Grey Dawning, Hewick and The Real Whacker. The Betfair Stayers’ Handicap Hurdle (14:30) is the pick of the supporting races as last weekend’s Cheltenham scorer Doyen Quest bids for more success.

There is also Grade 1 action at Punchestown courtesy of the Morgiana Hurdle (14:10) as State Man bids to land a hat-trick in the race, although stablemate Lossiemouth spearheads the rival charge. Elsewhere on the card, Ballyburn makes his debut over fences in the Conway Piling Beginners Chase (12:30).

Pic D’Orhy faces four rivals including Dashel Drasher and Grade 1 winner Le Patron in defence of the Grade 2 1965 Chase (13:30) at Ascot before Golden Ace makes her seasonal reappearance in the Ascot Hurdle (14:45).

Huntingdon also stages Jumps action before all-weather meetings at Newcastle and Wolverhampton round off proceedings.
