Walk Of The Roses did well in bumpers but preference is for CINDYSOX after her third at Huntingdon. She’s by Kayf Tara and out of a Listed-winning hurdler, so there’s potential in the pedigree.

14:58 Investment Manager (NAP)

Any of the five could win if bringing their best form. Perhaps the safest play is INVESTMENT MANAGER (NAP) who could run around here with his eyes shut. Juniper brings a progressive profile to the table and she edges Champagne Court for second preference.

15:28 Belgarum

Coconut Twist did threaten in handicaps over hurdles and he goes chasing after waltzing home in a point, but BELGARUM gets the nod. His current mark can be viewed in a positive light on his best hurdle form and, although yet to get much going over fences, that might change after wind surgery. Zero Tolerance made a bad mistake on his chase debut and he’s not had much racing.

15:58 Monjules

All of these have questions to answer but MONJULES did at least have an excuse last time and he nearly won three starts back. There are reasons for believing that Silver Shade can leave his Hereford form behind and pose the biggest threat.

16:28 Phoenix Way

Yccs Portocervo should confirm recent Kempton placings with Duc De Bourbon and No Getaway, although the latter (who won this last year) could be more competitive on this softer surface. However, they might all struggle to contain PHOENIX WAY if this former smart handicapper still fancies the challenge after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

17:03 Our Dylan

Something has clicked with OUR DYLAN and he won with sufficient authority last time to believe he may well go in again. Mr Zee looks dangerous after his good run at Kempton, while Culligran and Hillsin also arrive here after positive performances.
