14:00 – Shelaka

I’m sweet on Shelaka for Dermot Weld. She chased home Norwalk Havoc at Gowran Park last time out and she won her maiden at Tipperary last year. A mark of 85 is fair enough.

14:35 – Rogue Millenium

Rogue Millennium, who was bought for £1.7m, makes her debut for Joseph O’Brien. She holds the rating advantage over her rivals and she doesn’t have a penalty so she’s hard to oppose.

15:10 – Auguste Rodin

The question is whether the good or bad Auguste Rodin will turn up – and I’m going with the good. I don’t see how you can oppose him because when he’s on song, he’s brilliant. Aidan O’Brien has undercooked a lot of his runners recently and that happened in his last run at Meydan in March. He can bounce back on Sunday.

15:45 – Purple Lily

I’m siding with Purple Lily in the Irish 1000 Guineas. Billy Lee is brilliant and he’s picked her over A Lilac Rolla. I’ll side with his decision even though A Lilac Rolla has the form with Opera Singer. She just got outstayed last time out at Navan but she can bounce back from that.

16:15 – The Equator

Ryan Moore has gone for Mundi but I was hoping he’d ride The Equator. Every time Wayne Lordan gave him a flick last time out at Leopardstown it looked like he was going to take off! I’ll side with him even though Ryan has gone elsewhere!

17:25 – Harsh

I’m with Harsh for Joseph O’Brien. He won at Punchestown in May and his run in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham earlier this year was also decent.
