13:30 Goodwood – The Camden Colt (Ben Morgan)

THE CAMDEN COLT has run well to be placed in his last three starts since stepped up to 1m. Inside draw is a positive for one who likes to be up there, but he has been edging up the weights for not winning and the return to 7f is not sure to be a plus. Stable won this in 2016 and 2019.

13:50 Haydock – Vadream (Jon Freeman)

VADREAM was a head second to Seven Questions in blanket finish to the Group 3 Palace House at Newmarket (5f, good) three weeks ago. Excelled on testing ground last season, winning Doncaster Listed race (6f, heavy) and the Palace House (5f, soft), and she’s very much respected with conditions to suit.

14:30 Curragh – Art Power (Jim Delahunt)

ART POWER really enjoys his visits here, four wins include this race last year and later in season made Group 1 breakthrough in Qipco British Champions Sprint at Ascot. Satisfactory recent seasonal return at York (on ground plenty quick for him) should have blown away the cobwebs but would prefer some easing in the ground.

16:00 Cartmel – Shantwopointfive (The Punt)

SHANTWOPOINTFIVE won soft-ground Irish point on debut in October and has finished second on both starts under rules this spring, latterly on hurdle debut at Fontwell (2m1f, good to soft) nine days ago. Was no match for the easy winner in that rather thin race but ought to be suited by today’s longer trip.
