Marco Botti’s AMROON is taken to confirm recent Chelmsford superiority over Katie G and land a second career success. Sir Bolton returned to form over 5f on turf here last week and should have a part to play. Krysdanjord would also merit respect if turned out again after Brighton on Tuesday.

Twice-raced MYCOLOURSORYOURS comes here on the back of an encouraging Newbury fifth (form has been franked) so edges the vote with the prospect of better to come. Far L’Amore (second choice) has the form to play a big part too, while newcomer Baronetti and the returning Tatateo also need factoring in.

Recent improvers Beach Point and MAGIC RASCAL look the pair to focus on, with a narrow preference for the latter who runs here before a 3lb rise for his Bath near-miss kicks in. Kempton third Charles Morin may prove best of the remainder.

Recent Kempton scorer Letaba must enter calculations while the consistent Genesius (second choice) ended last term knocking on the door and is firmly in the picture on his return. However, ex-French winner PREMIERE LIGNE teed himself up well for this when an encouraging reappearance Windsor third and he gets the vote. Mildyjama and Chips And Rice need shortlisting too in an open handicap.
