The Listed British EBF Rothesay Stakes (3:20pm) tops the bill at Ayr and it could be a good opportunity for Heartache Tonight – a half-sister to Group 1 winner Wonderful Tonight – to score for the first time since breaking her maiden status.

There is a double helping of Class 2 action at Yarmouth as Age Of Gold – by Frankel out of a Dark Angel filly – makes his racecourse debut in the British EBF Novice Stakes (4pm) after the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes (3:30pm) which features daughters of Blue Point and No Nay Never.

Gowran Park and Kempton also stage Flat fixtures and there are Jumps meetings at Warwick and Southwell.
