14:53 Ludlow – Moviddy
A competitive renewal and deeper than the one Lost Connections won 12 months ago. Trapista will need her best yet to bring up her hat-trick and others appeal more. MOVIDDY is fairly handicapped on her good efforts in similar races last year and she didn’t appear to stay 3m1f last month at Cheltenham. Royal Margaux could be the danger, though Voice Of Calm will appreciate returning to this trip and Regal Renaissance is bred to continue her good work over hurdles as a chaser.
15:15 Plumpton – Small Bad Bob
Still unexposed over fences, SMALL BAD BOB will find this easier than the Class 3 hurdle races he contested on his last two appearances and is taken to win this event for the second year running. Just One Surf displayed significant improvement to win a maiden hurdle in March and has plenty of scope for further progress over fences. Toothless is likely to be on the premises again and is next on the list.
16:03 Ludlow – Musique De Fee
Further improvement from last month’s C&D handicap winner MUSIQUE DE FEE seems the most potent option as this is only her seventh race under rules, following one run in a point. While Awesome Foursome is repeatedly on the premises and now wears headgear for the first time, dual C&D winner Fenney Brook is feared more for win purposes.
16:25 Plumpton – A Tickatickatiming (Daily Record)
Yalla Habibi is 2-2 since joining Harriet Dickin and today’s longer trip may unlock further improvement but slight preference is for A TICKATICKATIMING, who ran well in defeat behind a major improver over C&D on her handicap debut in March. Ilanz also has a significant role to play.
