Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:45 Fakenham – Jackeline (Spotlight)
The big question here is whether the application of a hood and wind surgery will make Seeyouinmydreams more amenable to restraint, as she has the raw ability to win this of they do. There are risks attached, though, so JACKELINE is preferred after giving the impression a step up in trip would suit when third at Chepstow last time. Mountain Lake has also shaped as though she may benefit from this sort of trip, while La Gomera, runner-up in both starts on good ground, is another for the shortlist.
15:25 Ffos Las – Totowolfe (West Country)
There is probably more to come from Rocky Hill (second choice), who was second on his handicap debut at Hereford in March, while Ionity will warrant serious consideration if the form of his Hereford second is boosted by Shillanavogy in Division 1 of this race. However, the selection is class-dropper TOTOWOLFE, who didn’t run badly over 2m7f at Ascot in March and is fitted with cheekpieces for this drop back in trip.
16:05 Navan – Jazz Forever (Postdata)
Paul Flynn’s JAZZ FOREVER has a decent draw to work with and he’s off the same mark as for last month’s win on the AW. He’s shown some promise on the grass. It’s hard to make solid cases for the others, though Palo Duro is an interesting handicap debutant and Apprentice has form claims should the new blinkers get her back on track.
18:30 Hereford – Home And Dry (The Times)
Stay If U Want To just about sets the standard but he clearly has his quirks and preference is for HOME AND DRY, who’s generally done well since returning from a long absence, latterly in a stronger novice over C&D. Dirty Den, who’ll find this easier than in Grade 1 Festival events the past twice, is another to consider.
