Los Angeles – the winner of last season’s Criterium de Saint-Cloud – bids to enhance his Classic credentials in the Cashel Palace Hotel Derby Trial Stakes (3:35pm), Power Under Me attempts to land successive renewals of the Porsche In Support Of Breast Cancer Ireland Amethyst Stakes (3pm) and One Looks puts her unbeaten record on the line in the Al Shira’aa Racing Mutamakina Stakes (2:25pm).

Listed winner Stealthy Tom tops the weights for the Killarney National Handicap Chase (4:30pm), Playful Saint goes for a second win over fences in the space of eight days in the Class 3 Sinclair Range Rover Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase (1:43pm) at Ludlow and there is also Jumps action at Plumpton.

The Premier Raceday on Newcastle’s all-weather track rounds off proceedings.
