13:15 Ayr – Sans Bruit

I respect Pembroke’s chances and the money will likely come for Willie Mullins’ Uncle Phil with Paul Townend on board but I fancy Sans Bruit to follow up his Aintree win. He’s got another sharp two mile track at Ayr and that suits him perfectly. He’s gone up 10lbs in the ratings but he’ll go close.

13:30 Newbury – Al Qareem (each-way)

I’m a fan of Al Qareem and he will hit the frame at least. He needs a bit of give in the ground and although Arrest is at the top of the market, it’s hard to predict Flat racing at this part of the season, so I’ll stick with Al Qareem. In Group 2 or lower runs, he hasn’t finished outside of the top two. He’ll go well fresh and the conditions are ideal for him.

13:50 Ayr – Donny Boy (each-way)

Deeper Blue can go close but I’m with Donny Boy. He’s overpriced as he’s been running well this season. He had wind surgery last year and he’s hit the frame on four starts this season. He got dropped 2lbs from his last run at Wetherby and Bruce Lynn is claiming 3lbs so in theory he’s 5lbs lower. He can finish in the places while wearing cheekpieces on for the first time.

14:05 Newbury – Folgaria

Folgaria only has Italian form but she looks to have a decent chance on paper. She’s the pick and I wouldn’t be with Relief Rally at all! She could finish right at the back.

14:25 Ayr – Bialystok

Bialystok can go well for Willie Mullins but he’s been found in the market. This is the race he wants but I’d want a double-figure price about him. Leau Du Sud is an obvious pick and it’s not worth backing Bialystok if he goes off the same price as the Skelton runner.

14:40 Newbury – Zoum Zoum

He’s not a great price but I’m quite keen on Zoum Zoum for Ralph Beckett. He’s the type to improve physically from two to three. He will also really suit Newbury and while you wouldn’t want to be with him at Newmarket, he’s worth keeping on side here. He’s going to take an awful lot of beating.

15:00 Ayr – Coco Mademoiselle

I’m with Coco Mademoiselle for Harry and Dan Skelton. She was favourite in the ante-post market but A Penny A Hundred has shortened with Paul Townend taking the ride. Coco Mademoiselle won in good style at Chepstow last time out and that form has held up. There could be question marks over her staying the three mile trip but I’m not too concerned. She’s well handicapped off a mark of 121. Saylavee is the most interesting Mullins runner.

15:15 Newbury – Noble Order & Thunder Ball

I like Noble Order and he’s a decent price for Archie Watson with Hollie Doyle on board. He’s lightly-raced and he showed plenty of ability in maidens. He won with plenty to spare last time out at Newcastle and he can build on that despite going up 6lbs in the ratings. Thunder Ball could also go well and you can forgive his seventh-placed finish last time out at Doncaster. Alec Voikhansky is on board and claiming 3lbs which is a bonus.

15:35 Ayr – Inis Oirr (NAP) & Ballygrifincottage (each-way)

Inis Oirr has been my one horse for this race for a while. He’s been lined up for this and I’m very keen on him. At the prices, I’ve also had a go on Ballygrifincottage (each-way). He’s been decent on his last couple of starts and I’ve come to the conclusion that the Skelton’s know what they’re doing so I’ll just get on board!
