The Grand National is almost here and our experts at Paddy Power News are on hand to give you all their picks ahead of the biggest Jumps race in the world.
As Aintree gears up for the big one you can catch all the action across all three days of the festival on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app or ITV1.
Grand National winning jockey Mick Fitzgerald has been speaking on the latest Punters’ Panel episode of From The Horse’s Mouth giving you his tips for the race.
Grand National odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, Mick’s four fancies for this year’s renewal at Aintree are below.
Mick Fitzgerald:
Meetingofthewaters
MEETINGOFTHEWATERS, you watch that race at Cheltenham and see how strongly he finished, he’s a player, the ground won’t be a problem and he’s definitely the one and I’ve already backed him.
Corach Rambler
CORACH RAMBLER is a player, there are concerns about how much of a mark the Gold Cup has left, but if you watch him win last year, he pulled up halfway up the run-in and should have won on the bridle.
Noble Yeats
I think of the others, NOBLE YEATS even with plenty of weight, he will be coming through them. It will turn into a slog this year and I think he’ll plug his way through and finish in the places.
Panda Boy
Of the others in there, you’re looking at PANDA BOY – he was second in that Leopardstown race. He’s a player too, trained by a good man in Martin Brassil who knows how to get one ready for the big day. They are my four.
