14:25 Plumpton – Scarface

ITV go to Plumpton for the first time on Easter Monday to cover this handicap chase over an extended 2m3f.

SCARFACE sometimes jumps right which is not great for here but that said he’s a recent winner at the track so he is worth the chance. He stays well and is in great form and up just 3lb for a recent success at Sandown. He seems to go on any ground.

14:55 Kempton – Dubai Honour

The main domestic action on ITV comes on the Flat from Kempton starting with this Listed Magnolia Stakes over 1m2f.

DUBAI HONOUR is not bombproof in a race like this but he’s easily the most likely winner currently rated 120 and getting 3lb from the 109 Lion’s Pride. The six-year-old has been a great servant for William Haggas and Ryan Moore takes the ride. His second in the September Stakes here reads well.

15:30 Kempton – Isle Of Sark

ISLE OF SARK should have won at Southwell the other day, but reared at the start and tried to kill Saffie Osborne who was not happy! Off the same mark here, he has a great chance for Jamie Osborne, and stall seven should be ideal.

16:05 Kempton – Al Ameen (each-way)

AL AMEEN might have a little each-way chance at decent odds if being fresh is what he likes. He started last season with a win at this track off 72 and then went well at Lingfield before flopping at Newcastle. He’s on 76 here so needs to do more but he is lightly raced and might have more to come for James Fanshawe and Danny Muscutt.

16:40 Kempton – Farasi Lane

FARASI LANE is a bit better off at the weights for a defeat by Vultar here last time and if he puts it all in he has every chance for the excellent Kieren Shoemark Dr Richard Newland and Jamie Insole. Farasi Lane just hung a bit on seasonal debut – in the hope that was just him getting a bit tired, I’ll take the chance he reverses the form.

17:00 Fairyhouse – Yeah Man (each-way)

The big betting race of the day is the Irish Grand National – which is all Irish!

YEAH MAN is massively up in the weights on a mark of 140 so this won’t be easy. That said, he goes in mud and was really impressive in denying the consistent My Silver Lining at Haydock last time. He should have an each-way chance for Gavin Cronwell and Keith Donoghue.

So best of luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. You hear me Paddy?
