13:25 Omniscient

Jack Kennedy will be trying to win as many races as possible to hold his lead in the race to be champion jockey and Gordon Elliot now trains Omniscient who used to be trained by Sir Mark Prescott. He was rated in the 90s when running on the flat and think he has a good chance here.

14:00 Silver King (each-way)

Philip Enright and Oliver McKiernan have caused a few upsets in the past. This horse was a winner of a novice hurdle at Punchestown and ran a very good race behind a highly thought of Built By Ballymore last time out. I think he’s a player off his mark.

14:35 Bioluminescence

Gavin Cromwell had a Cheltenham festival winner for JP McManus and the team have a good record together. Bioluminescence was a comfortable winner of the Shannon Spray, and a reproduction of that form would see him be a major player here.

15:45 Tounsivator

Willie Mullins has a couple in here and Tounsivator won very easily at Naas. He has to be in the ‘could be anything’ category still but I’m interested because Willie steps him up in grade for this. I think he’ll take all the beating.

16:20 Figaroc

Looks like it could be a good day for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend and they have lots of chances here so Figaroc has to be of interest for a team that have won the last two editions of this.

16:55 Tactical Move

Willie Mullins is multi represented in here and Blood Destiny is the choice of Paul Townend. Tactical move looked good winning his last two and I’m willing to take a punt on him with Danny Mullins on board.

17:30 Butchers Bill

This horse is a brother to Cheltenham festival second Romeo Coolio and he cost a fair penny at the sales. He is ridden by Josh Williamson, who is the son of legendary jockey, Norman Williamson and I think he might be a bit of value here.
