15:00 Market Rasen – Theformismighty (Daily Mail)

This looks a bit trappy but the vote goes to Dan Skelton’s THEFORMISMIGHTY, who has shaped with promise behind some useful rivals in his three starts over hurdles and is open to more progress on his first run after a wind operation. Second choice is Dr Seb, who returned after a long absence with a good third behind a subsequent winner here in November. The other one on the shortlist is the twice-raced Anytrixwilldo, who could be a big factor if he can recapture his initial form.

15:50 Haydock – Ali Star Bert (Post Data)

The progressive 8yo ALI STAR BERT has hinted he could prove well suited by this step up in trip, and he earns the vote ahead of the unexposed 7yo Jubilee Express who was runner-up over 3m5f at Lingfield last month. Atakan is an interesting contender on his second start back from an absence, while Conkwell Legend has claims in view of the promise he showed at Exeter two starts ago.

17:00 Haydock – President Scottie (The Times)

The handicap newcomer PRESIDENT SCOTTIE has displayed staying promise in 2m4f novice hurdles at Ayr and he’s the selection ahead of the in-form 9yo North Parade, for whom the step up in trip is an interesting move. Hashtag Boum won at Market Rasen last time and is next on the list.

18:00 Southwell -Masterclass (Newmarket)

Jeans Maite is not without hope of getting a soft lead here and that would aid her cause no end. However, the assured strong gallop should work in favour of MASTERCLASS who now goes in blinkers. Mehmo is preferred of the others.
