Having shown improved form on his handicap debut at Taunton last time, the unexposed TRY THE MONEY (nap) is taken to get off the mark. Giulietta, Awesome Foursome and Sailed Away are three others with a chance

Olly Murphy’s ROCCOVANGO would be opposable in many maiden hurdles as it was only a Class 4 handicap in which he went close here last time, but this might not take a lot of winning. Arthurian Fable, formerly very useful on the Flat, has run well enough in two Newbury maidens (especially the first time) to believe he could prove most troublesome. Dasher and hurdling newcomer Motazzen are preferred of the others.
15:17 Minella Double
The switch to fences could prompt improvement from the very lightly raced point winner MINELLA DOUBLE and he gets the nod. Loup De Maulde has a fine record here over hurdles and could be a big danger off an attractive mark now back chasing. Regarde won here last autumn on his first two chase starts and is respected, while Poker Master also likes it here

Although he has shown little over hurdles for his present connections SERAPHIC was a fair performer in France, so following a better run on the Flat last time, is selected to take advantage of his much-reduced mark. Last month’s Lingfield winner Wise Guy and the two Skelton runners, Havock and Vitani, are three others worth considering.
16:27 Moet At Upton
Those who have raced set just a modest standard, but there was some promise from MOET AT UPTON when she was seventh at Ascot last month and she’s taken to build on that with a win today. Her stablemate Habibi can pose a threat if tapping back into her debut potential but the newcomer Hello Cello could be the chief danger for Harry Fry. Fergal O’Brien’s debutantes Barra Blue and Hola Hermosa are also of interest.
