NINA CARBERRY
I was very impressed by Fact To File when beating Gaelic Warrior at the Dublin Racing Festival and he’s improved a lot over fences. He could be an Arkle horse but I don’t know where Willie Mullins will run him.
I’d fancy him in the Brown Advisory or any race he runs in! His times were really impressive last time out and he’s the top Irish novice right now.
I like Monty’s Star, who wasn’t up to standards in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham last year. He’s improved on his first run of the season and he stays really well.
He’s a little unknown and he is lightly raced but he could run a big race. I’m not 100 per cent confident he’d beat Fact To File but he’s worth chancing at the prices. If Fact To File goes to the Turners instead, it gives Monty’s Star a great opportunity to win this.
