13:20 Naas – Lark In The Mornin (Brian Flanagan)

LARK IN THE MORNIN was a Flat winner on sole start at two, ran only once last Flat season. Placed in two of his three maiden hurdle starts. Had subsequent winner Pacini 9l behind when second at Punchestown before a fair sixth at Leopardstown. front of Bright Legend when a staying-on third at Punchestown and has a good chance at the weights if he jumps a bit more cleanly.

13:30 Newbury – Emitom (The Punt)

EMITOM won over C&D (good) last March and he’s been a good second on two of his three starts this season (good to soft/soft), including over C&D. There’s every chance he’ll be in the mix.

15:05 Naas – Whiskeywealth (The Irish Sun)

WHISKEYWEALTH disappointed at Fairyhouse last month but had been acting at a good level prior to that in Listed handicap chases. Had every chance before falling two out in a Thurles handicap hurdle in December. Big chance off the same mark, 12lb lower than his mark over fences.

15:15 Newbury – Altobelli (Spotlight)

ALTOBELLI was 3-3 prior to Grade 1 flop last April. Solid efforts in handicaps at Ascot (1m7f, soft/good) this season, close third to Luccia latest despite the steady pace not being ideal. Lightly raced and still gives the impression there’s a good prize in him. Warrants plenty of respect.
