15:02 Wolverhampton – Muscika (The Sun)

Bright made it 2-6 when beating a clear second over C&D last month and is open to more progress, but slight preference is for MUSCIKA, who has 16 wins on his CV and was only just caught off this mark at Lingfield on Sunday. Another to consider is triple Southwell winner Tyke, who finished close up in a Class 4 event last time.

15:10 Kempton – Wot You Wearing (Racing Post)

The two handicap debutants at the top of the racecard, Katate Dori and Bentley’s Return, are both open to significant improvement, and the former is of particular interest if judged on last season’s bumper form. However, WOT YOU WEARING has made good progress since the autumn, and Freddie Gingell’s very useful 5lb claim can enable him to add to his tally.

16:07 Wolverhampton – Wadacre Gomez (The Times)

An open race in which the vote goes to WADACRE GOMEZ, who found more progress when making all at Chelmsford last week and is a big player again under a penalty in his bid to make it three wins from his last four runs. Master Of Combat was as good as ever with his close third at Southwell last time and he’s feared most, ahead of Ernie’s Valentine, who looks interesting back up in trip and down in grade. Arcadian Nights also enters the reckoning along with Light Up Our Stars and Eagle Day.

17:15 Chelmsford – Alice Kitty (Telegraph)

Stormingin lurks on a dangerous mark being 6lb lower than when winning this race last year and 8lb lower than when last successful, so he is well worth keeping an eye on if his two starts since returning from a break have put him right. Reverberation has the recent form on the board having been successful in both visits here since joining this yard, including one under today’s rider. He looks solid, but it may be worth taking a chance with ALICE KITTY who has dropped 6lb lower than when winning over C&D last May, while the booking of Simon Walker catches the eye.
