13:55 Thurles – Thedancingfarrier (Irish Sun)

Not many of these make much appeal. THEDANCINGFARRIER was fourth to Added Bonus in this last year and ran his best race for some time when runner-up in a beginners’ at Cork last time, so can win if repeating that. Espion Du Chenet lost his form last year but is thrown in if he can stage a revival. McGrath From Clune won over fences here in November and has been over hurdles since, so is feared back to this discipline. Prince Of Air has a squeak.

14:30 Thurles – Queen Of Seduction (Racing Post)

The weakest of the two divisions. Glendine Billy appeals as one that may come forward enough to go close, while both Gabriel Ranger and On Your Way have shown plenty of quirks but enough ability to be a factor. Realtin Lonrach and Stagecoach Mary both come into it, as does bumper winner Crooked Tannie. Preference is for QUEEN OF SEDUCTION, undoubtedly the class act of the field with the drop back in trip sure to suit.

15:50 Doncaster – Horacio Apples (Racing Post)

This looks very open. HORACIO APPLE’S has the physique to deal with his big weight and if back to his Bangor form he should be on the scene. Betterforeveryone returns here off an untouched mark after chasing home a subsequent winner last month and he’s second choice ahead of Everyday Champagne.

16:35 Huntingdon – Blue Las (The Times)

Dunskay sets the standard back down in class but he’s conceding weight to several interesting types among the newcomers, most notably BLUE LAS whose siblings include a Huntingdon bumper scorer on debut. Shy Love (second choice) and Ol’ Man Brando give Fergal O’Brien a robust-looking hand, while Big Ginge is another suggestion for the shortlist. The market signals should give further guidance.
