Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
He’s on a long losing run but good-ground specialist FIDUX ran well in defeat at Doncaster last month and ought to handle this sharper track well. He gets the vote ahead of Lord Accord, who needs to better his recent efforts but is well handicapped now and will also be very well suited by today’s ground. Class-dropper Larry is also considered.
Top Cloud (second choice) has been going great guns for his new yard and on a line through the horse he beat at Ascot last time he’s closely matched with Seefin. However, there’s good reason to believe that JASMIWA could return to form and she edges preference.
Bottom-weight DANDY SANDS looks open to progress back at 7f and is taken to get off the mark. Consistent Enpassant is second choice, ahead of Flag Carrier who drops back in class. Magic Fluke may still have more to offer, while Rey De La Batalla, Mariner and Private Getaway are interesting switched to handicap level.
A trappy event in which all six runners have something to recommend them. Glory Fighter should be primed after two runs back from a break and he’s a contender, while Rory and Henery Hawk are in better order than recent formfigures might indicate. WEE FAT MAC’s two wins last month came in Class 6 company but he looked good over C&D on his penultimate start and he could take another step forward back at 5f.
