Horse & Jockey Hotel Chase tips and runner-by-runner guide to Thurles 1.35 on Sunday

Allaho's going for a third win in this!

Allaho jumping a fence at Thurles

The Grade 2 Horse & Jockey Hotel Chase at Thurles is one of the few Jumps contests to have survived the big freeze this week.

A cracking cast of six are set to go to post in Sunday’s 13:35 including Allaho, who won this in 2022 and 2021, and last season’s Ryanair Chase scorer Envoi Allen.

Joining Allaho in Willie Mullins’ four-strong squad are Appreciate It, Capodanno and Stattler, while Mouse Morris pitches French Dynamite into the mix.

The latest Horse & Jockey Hotel Chase odds are on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise Timeform’s guide to the runners as well as betting tips from the racing boffins can be found below.

Horse & Jockey Hotel Chase verdict

Timeform: ALLAHO couldn’t extend his winning sequence to six in the King George over Christmas at Kempton but still performed with credit to take third and Willie Mullins’ dual Ryanair hero is hard to side against now back in trip. Stablemates Appreciate It (second choice) and Capodanno can fight it out for minor honours.
