13:40 Artisan Dancer
Probably the worst four races ever shown on terrestrial TV but with the jumps racing off it’s still great ITV show anything so let’s get stuck into it and see what we can do! We start off with a handicap over 1m6f. On paper there is little pace up front here and not many closers so they could all be in a heap.
I’ll chance the consistent ARTISAN DANCER as he is likely to go forward from stall 2 and might just get an easy lead. He’s been touched off from this mark recently but has every chance again for Charlie Johnston and Jack Mitchell. The draw should be a big advantage.
14:15 The Turpinator
A handicap over 7f. THE TURPINATOR might be in a good position to run well here for PJ McDonald and Grant Tuer. There is pace all over the place and my selection can go from any position in the field. Stall 4 should allow him to get a perfect lead and just sit behind the leaders before hopefully pouncing.

14:50 Sea The Buckthorn (each way)
A handicap over 7f. Should be pace on here. SEA THE BUCKTHORN is well positioned to sit in midfield and come through late under Danny Muscutt for Mark Usher. My hope has yet to win a race but has begun to show a bit of form and a mark of 47 looks workable. I’ll have a few quid on each way.
15:25 Fast Affair
A handicap over an extended 1m1f. Not many confirmed front runners here. Soi Dao is one but she is up in trip. I’m happy to stick with FAST AFFAIR for James Fanshawe and Danny Muscutt. The selection is likely to come from midfield via stall 8 and is only 3lb higher than when scoring here in October.
So best of luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. You hear me Paddy?
