Fran is siding with On Our Radar as a decent-priced nap in the 18:00 at Dundalk.

16:00 – Marsa & Collective Power (each way)

Adrian McGuinness has Dream Today and he could go well but I’m on Marsa for Eddie Lynam, who has three runners in the race. This could shape up with the front-runners going at each other and fall to a closer making a move late on. Marsa is a hold-up filly and she should finish well. I also like Collective Power as an each-way shout. Both of Eddie’s runners look primed to win so I’ll keep them on side.

        16:30 – Magellan Strait/Longclaw Forecast

Magellan Strait is rated 101 and he won a big-field handicap at the Curragh in September. This looks a golden opportunity for him. I wouldn’t back him winning by a big distance if you’re thinking about it, he’ll just do enough to win once he’s in front. I’ll go with Longclaw to finish behind him in the forecast.

            17:00 – Folly Beach

Club Manager is versatile in terms of ground and trip and he just got caught last time out at Southwell in October. He’s worth keeping on side for the future and Spinning Web could go well but I’m with Mark Molloy’s Folly Beach, who finished second in a higher grade race at Dundalk just before Christmas. She won at Leopardstown last summer and her recent all-weather form is solid. She’s got a great draw in stall one too.

                17:30 – San Andreas

San Andreas is a multiple course winner and Bungle Inthedesert and Point Gellibrand won’t offer much of a match for him. The only way he doesn’t win is if he doesn’t enter the gates!

18:00 – On Our Radar (NAP)

Mullacash Buzz is a multiple-winner at the track and Jack Cleary gets on very well with him but there are a few frontrunners to take him on. I like On Our Radar, who won at Dundalk last summer. He ran in a higher grade at Gowran Park last September and he’s got a great draw in stall two. It’s a wide open race and he’s unexposed. He’ll love the pace in the race too, he could be hard to beat.

                          18:30 – Pierre Lapin (each-way)

Hightimeyouwon could be dangerous if at his best but I’m siding with Pierre Lapin, who is each-way value for Adrian McGuinness. He may not win but he’s getting to a workable mark and there are front-runners in here as well. He’s guaranteed to finish in the money and he’s run into a couple of really good horses recently.

                              19:00 – Secret Rock (each-way)

Mauras Gift was a good third last time out and she’s likely to force the pace but I’m on Secret Rock, who is making his polytrack debut. He was decent in a handicap hurdle at Cork in December and he won at Roscommon last summer. Jake Coen takes off 5lbs and he’s got a decent draw in stall five. He could be the value pick.

                                  19:30 – Flier

Emperor of Silk could go well for Luke Comer but I’m with Denise Foster’s Flier. She finished second last time out at Dundalk in December and she can go one better. There should be a good gallop on and that will suit her style of racing.
