12:10 Mollys Mango

A low-key start to proceedings. MOLLYS MANGO has by far the best form and wasn’t right when disappointing at Wexford. This is at her mercy. Littlebiggie might chase her home.

12:40 My Trump Card

A two-horse race involving the powerhouse yards. MY TRUMP CARD, proven on the ground and with a good hurdles run in the book, has fewer question marks against him than hurdling debutant I Will Be Baie who will encounter deep ground for the first time.

    13:15 Macs Xpress

    Though MACS XPRESS didn’t jump well on chasing debut last time, he has a solid chance in this grade on the form he showed in a much stronger Cheltenham hurdle contest the time before. Pay Later has shown just a hint of ability but has an eyecatching jockey booking so is of interest. Don’t Talk won over 2m here last time and can be a player if staying this trip. Glorytogod Tom also has his stamina to prove but handles this ground.

    13:50 Duffys Getaway (NAP)

    There’s little doubt that Read To Return will entice punters again after his latest near miss at Navan and there has to be a hurdle in him off this kind of mark but proper heavy ground may not be ideal. DUFFYS GETAWAY (NAP) has no worries on that score and can complete a hat-trick for his resurgent trainer.

    14:25 Allegorie De Vassy

    While Riviere D’Etel is a major danger receiving 8lb, it is still difficult to oppose ALLEGORIE DE VASSY, who was impressive when scoring at Clonmel on return. Her stablemate Instit has a bit to find but goes particularly well at this track.

        15:00 Nick Rockett

        With a clear round of jumping, NICK ROCKETT will be very difficult to beat, as he holds most of these rivals on recent C&D form and he should be sharper for that. His long-absent, but fragile, stablemate Tactical Move might be the one to give him most to do.

        15:35 Staffordshire Knot

        Though he was taken out at Limerick because of heavy ground a few days ago, STAFFORDSHIRE KNOT was a fine 3rd in a Cork maiden hurdle on soft, so could get away with the ground today. The Willie Mullins-trained I Am River has excellent credentials on paper, so looks the main danger.
