Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

13:24 Lingfield – Platinum Prince (Daily Mail)

Quite a competitive event. Angel On High has to be respected in trying to follow up his turf win after a break, while Lost In Time’s (next best) recent success suggests he should also be feared. A return to form last time by Mirabello Bay puts him in the picture but preference is for PLATINUM PRINCE, who goes well when fresh, is back on a winning mark and handles this track. He is taken to make a successful step up in trip. Chagall is not ruled out.

13:45 Punchestown – Hey Whatever (Irish Sun)

The Willie Mullins-trained Storm Heart is respected as a 1m4f Flat winner in France. However, the hurdling experience gained by HEY WHATEVER at Fairyhouse could be crucial. He has an edge over fourth-placed Superbolt. Once-raced hurdling newcomer Collaborative is potentially interesting.

14:15 Punchestown – Ashdale Bob (Daily Record)

Hard to know what to make of a race contested by four horses who ran over fences last time. Naas faller Sir Gerhard and Troytown seventh Thedevilscoachman have to be taken seriously, but ASHDALE BOB is a specialist hurdler who could be hard to beat if fully primed for his first run after a break.

14:24 Lingfield – Magnificence (Racing Post)

A trappy sprint. Star Of Lady M (second choice) was hugely impressive over C&D last month and will be a danger to all if back at that level, while Harb needs a close look in the betting. Buccabay is another to consider but perhaps MAGNIFICENCE will be the answer. She went close at Kempton last time when hanging left late on did her no favours and perhaps going this way round will see her to better effect.
