Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
12:00 Naas – Kilashee (Irish Daily Star)
Two hurdle wins in 2021 were over 2m4f/2m6f; 0-12 chasing but KILASHEE was second in 2m5f handicap at Clonmel in October; let down by jumping on next two starts; reassuring display when beaten 7l in a novice handicap at Clonmel last week; definite chance in this grade.
13:05 Newcastle – Ikarak (Tipman Tips)
Worcester winner IKARAK has consistently performed at a good level and he is taken to defy the 7lb penalty and follow up.
Workhardplayhard was a promising second on his hurdle debut at Sedgefield and could be best of the rest ahead of Both Barrels, who should appreciate today’s extra yardage.
15:15 Taunton – Guy (The Independent)
Buoyed by his return to winning ways over hurdles in May, GUY was back from his summer break with a comfortable chase win at Fontwell (2m2f, good) in October; the handicapper has looked in charge on his two outings since, though.
19:00 Chelmsford – Storm Catcher (Daily Mail)
Penzance will be popular on the back of last week’s smooth same course and distance (C&D) success but he’s up in class today and STORM CATCHER may have his measure. Simon Pearce’s 5yo has gone from strength to strength in the last 12 months and he won with some authority at Lingfield last month.
