17:30 – Bold Style

The vote goes the way of Godolphin’s BOLD STYLE on the back of his promising debut second at Wolverhampton. Hutchence never figured on his Newmarket debut but the fact he went off favourite for a good stable suggests he’d been giving the right signals at home so he’s second choice. Alan King’s Rakki has more to give, while the three newcomers hail from leading yards and need checking out in the betting.

18:00 – Alfred

Interest in this clash between fast-improving pair ALFRED and Habrdi is heightened because the former has taken off since joining George Boughey, while the latter is a rare one who has thrived since moving away from the same handler. Narrow preference is for Alfred, who has already proven himself at this trip.

18:30 – Kings School

Claxton Bay has a stamina doubt over 1m2f, while the fitting of headgear isn’t a ringing endorsement for Promoteo. Lord Normandy is one to consider, while My Dream World is an interesting newcomer whose appeal would be heightened by market support. That said, the two against the field are Sun Dancer Girl, who can leave her debut effort well behind her today, and KING’S SCHOOL. The selection has shown promise in two runs over 1m and the step up in trip can spark improvement.

19:00 – Storm Catcher (NAP)

Penzance will be popular on the back of last week’s smooth C&D success but he’s up in class today and STORM CATCHER (nap) may have his measure. Simon Pearce’s 5yo has gone from strength to strength in the last 12 months and he won with some authority at Lingfield last month. Sayf Al Dawla still has the air of one with more to come and he’s best of the rest.

19:30 – Headingley

While it’s hard to be certain quite how much ability HEADINGLEY retains, it wouldn’t be a surprise were he still a notch above this 0-70 level. The in-form Mr Trick is the one most likely to capitalise should the selection fail to deliver.

20:00 – Desert Order

Helm Rock has won on his last two starts on AW and he looks set to go well once again. Fantastic Fox has more on his plate today and this may be fought out by the 3yos Lord Bertie and DESERT ORDER. Neither is without risk, the former having bombed out the last twice and the selection absent for 432 days, but both still have upside and Charlie Appleby’s runner did really well to overcome a troubled passage when winning at Newmarket when last seen.

20:30 – Kyle Of Lochalsh

In a competitive finale the suggestion is KYLE OF LOCHALSH, who quickened up nicely to score over C&D last month and could have more to offer. The thriving Tradesman is feared most ahead of Sun Tracker and Chase The Dollar.
