Upped in distance with Serena Brotherton booked, TRANQUILLITY could well build on her latest effort and open her account. Elusive Tiger, a similar type, is second choice ahead of recent hurdles scorer Steven Seagull. Several others have possibilities if returning to form.
17:30 – Bargain Basement
Rising Force (second choice) is drawn widest but otherwise very appealing, while Cowboy Stuff and Maverick Style tie in with that rival on last-time-out form. BARGAIN BASEMENT, who is unexposed on AW and could well build on his latest effort, looks an interesting alternative. Several others also have possibilities.
18:00 – Post Rider
Having shown clear promise behind an odds-on shot and beaten the rest comfortably here last month, POST RIDER is taken to go one better. Mrs Morrell, who has solid form claims, is second choice ahead of Roman Emperor who may show progress if the six-month absence proves no issue. Heed the market signals with regard to Blue Virtue, who looks best of the newcomers.
18:30 – Persian Blue
This looks the right race for PERSIAN BLUE who showed promise on her AW debut at Lingfield and lost nothing in defeat against a useful one at Nottingham in September. It’s Showtime may be the main danger although Romanee, after an encouraging turf debut, and Kapparis Kid, dropped to 6f, are both of some interest. Newcomer Pandora’s Gift is worth a market check given her AW connections.

19:00 – Q Twenty Boy
Judged on his recent course form under Alicia Perkins, Q TWENTY BOY holds particularly solid claims. Fantasy Navigator, who looks interesting off a reduced mark back from a break, is second choice ahead of One For The Ladies, Smasher and Tilsworth Ony Ta.
19:30 – Urban Sprawl (NAP)
Being effectively ahead of the assessor with a rise in the weights almost certainly impending, URBAN SPRAWL (nap) can open his AW account. Court Of Session, who has a solid chance, is second choice ahead of Keyser Soze who returned to form last time. Yesterday’s winner Eagle Day would also have to be considered if turning out again under a penalty.
20:00 – Mccauleys Tavern
This looks competitive for the level. Ring Of Gold has been given a chance by the handicapper and a better effort would not surprise, while Top Button (next best) has the potential to do better and can have a say, while Wilde And Dandy could also be a contender. Got No Dollars has each-way claims but the suggestion is McCAULEY’S TAVERN. Mark Loughnane’s three-year-old is nicely treated on his spring form and could get closer to that level now back up in trip.
20:30 – Enough Already
This may go the way of ENOUGH ALREADY if he can transfer his recent good form at Lingfield to a track he’s not experienced before. Wadacre Gomez doesn’t have much to find with the selection and this consistent 3yo is second choice followed by Boasty and Rogue Soldier.
