      EL FABIOLO carried all before him over fences last season and the Arkle hero is confidently expected to go 5-5 since sent chasing and maintain Willie Mullins’ stranglehold on this Grade 1 event.

      Henry de Bromhead’s unexposed and still unbeaten Jungle Boogie could emerge as the chief threat ahead of the much more experienced duo of Fil Dor and Maskada.

          14:45 Ricky Bobby

          RICKY BOBBY returned to form back over hurdles last time and he’s well treated on past exploits, so he gets the vote over last-time-out winner McGrath From Clune, who reverts to the smaller obstacles on a handy mark. The Banger Doyle is also considered.

          15:15 Champagne Mahler

          CHAMPAGNE MAHLER took a step forward despite not being subjected to a hard ride when third at Wexford last month and looks an interesting contender up in trip on handicap bow.

          Blossom de Mai and Magic Conqueror arrive in top form having finished 1-2 at Tramore 12 days ago and they head the dangers.
