CHAVAJOD made a fine start for this yard when a 40-1 winner at Leopardstown in May. Yet to win on AW but placed four times at this venue as well as on the beach at Laytown.
17:45 Dundalk – James Henry (Irish Sun)
Maiden JAMES HENRY has been 2nd five times, including over 7f here the last twice. Drops to this trip for the first time but has plenty of speed, so can go close with a repeat.
18:30 Kempton – Twirling (The Punt)
TWIRLING is a Churchill filly who made a winning debut over C&D and returned from ten months off with a promising third of 14 here 30 days ago. Yard took this contest 12 months ago so she’s a player.
20:30 Kempton – Gentle Whinny (spotlight)
GENTLE WHINNY is lightly raced 1m turf winner who caught the eye after five months off when fifth of 11 over C&D (AW debut) 30 days ago, caught wide. That form is working out really well so she’s a big player off a 2lb lower mark. Cheekpieces applied.
