12:35 – POPPY ROSE

Russian Virtue took his form to another new level when winning here in October but this might be fought out by Stuart Crawford’s two runners. Joker Du Chenet did not run badly over 2m5f on his recent handicap debut and today’s drop back in trip could be a good move but POPPY ROSE gets the vote after her creditable third in a big field at Navan.

13:05 – ROB ROY MACGREGOR

He was slightly disappointing on his recent hurdling debut but course bumper winner ROB ROY MACGREGOR appears to have been found a good opportunity here. Kelso third Valleyview Tommy looks the main danger.

13:35 – FLAUBERT

The ones with rules form have not achieved a great deal so the suggestion is FLAUBERT, who joined Donald McCain after an impressive Irish point win in the spring. Marty McFly made a quiet start to his hurdling career last month but his two bumper runs in the spring make him of interest, while there is likely to be improvement from Wal Buck’s at some stage.

14:10 – BARBADOS BUCK’S

Ailie Rose will be a tough nut to crack if able to replicate her Fairyhouse form on this first start since April but the one with least to prove is BARBADOS BUCK’S (nap), who ran well on last month’s stable debut at Ayr.

14:45 – HOSTILE HOTELIER

A market move for Batman For Ever could put a different complexion on this uncompetitive race but the most obvious answer is HOSTILE HOTELIER, who moves back up in trip after winning over 2m on his recent handicap debut at Hexham.

15:20 – SEA GOD

British maiden point winner SEA GOD has his first run for Irish trainer John McConnell and gets the nod ahead of Walk On Quest, who joined Lucinda Russell’s yard for £100,000 after finishing second in an Irish maiden point. Malicash was a promising third on his debut at Kelso and could also be a big danger.
