Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:10 Cork – Dgalwaygallivantor (Jersey Evening Post)

Top-weight Bukhill never landed a blow at Cheltenham last time but has to be respected dropped in class here, as does recent Clonmel winner Housemartin. However, it could pay to side with the four-year-old DGALWAYGALLIVANTOR who caught the eye at Downpatrick last time and could well have more to offer.

14:05 Exeter – Tarahumara (Morning Star)

Lightly raced and improving 7yo who is 3-4 over hurdles; TARAHUMARA made all in 2m handicaps at Southwell (good) and Warwick (soft) since having wind surgery; bred to be as effective at this longer trip; has gained all wins when fresh and now has something to prove turned out relatively quickly (only 19 days since last run); otherwise respected.

14:45 Uttoxeter – Kitesurfer (Racing Post)

KITESURFER Won his only French hurdle race (soft) but suffered heavy defeats on both his starts in Britain; latest was handicap debut over 1m7f at Wincanton last month; this is much more of a stamina test and could conceivably see him in a different light, with a tongue-tie (worn in France) restored.

15:00 Punchestown – Gabbys Cross (Irish Daily Star)

Better over fences but GABBYS CROSS managed a good second behind Biddy One in this sphere at Galway last month; not certain to uphold form with third-placed Shadow Rider who was making his seasonal debut and was also returning from a spell over fences.
