She fairly rattled home at Wolverhampton last time just eight days ago to win by a very small margin, but SIXTIES CHIC was absolutely motoring through the line, suggesting that a step up to 7f for the first time can see her improve again.
It was also only her first try on the All-weather surface and the freewheeling nature of this track will suit.
13:00 Lingfield – Fivethousandtoone
Andrew Balding’s FIVETHOUSANDTOONE has always been a bit hit and miss and probably hasn’t won the amount of races he should have. He can be slowly away and race keenly, but there is no doubting his ability.
Off an attractive rating of just 93, he’s ideally drawn in stall one. With Oisin Murphy in the saddle, he has a lot in his favour.
14:53 Lingfield – King of Scotia
Jamie Osborne’s charge was a massive eyecatcher last time at Chelmsford, after giving away a winning opportunity at the starting gate. He made late headway, but was basically given little opportunity to reach the leaders.
KING OF SCOTIA‘s on a very attractive mark of 77, some way below his peak rating of 89 when running in Ireland last May. The step up in distance to 1m 2f looks perfect.
19:15 Wolverhampton – Crimson Angel
CRIMSON ANGEL eventually gets a chance off the handicapper dropping to 78 after a fair effort last time after a very tardy start, which made her task from then very difficult.
She is better drawn in box four this time and granted a slightly better jump out of the gate, the daughter of Harry Angel has to go very close.

20:15 Wolverhampton – Girl from Italy
GIRL FROM ITALY has hit top form when winning the last twice at Newcastle but has also won over this course and distance. She’s only been nudged up 4lb by the assessor which is offset with Alex Fielding’s 7lb claim.
She looks to be in a strong position to land the hat-trick and it’s a great opportunity for the young rider to showcase his talents.
