The way MONTECRISTO GOLD kept on for third over 7f here last time suggested this step up to 1m could suit him. The form of that race was boosted when the second won recently and he can get off the mark at the sixth time of asking. Hope Jonanna (second choice) rates a possible improver now handicapping for a good stable, while Aspire To Glory wasn’t too far behind the selection last time and, like him, leaves the impression he may benefit from 1m.

17:00 Rochelle

This looks a good opportunity for ROCHELLE to build on her promising debut third at Newmarket. Born A Rebel has shown the most among the others who have run. A check is needed to see if the betting vibes are strong surrounding one or more of the newcomers.

17:30 Rogue Thunder

The wind tweak may well enable ROGUE THUNDER to show some progress and get off the mark. David’s Diva, another contender who returns from a layoff with interesting claims, is second choice ahead of Fianian and Maruna. Moon Flight is rather frustrating but he has the form to take a serious hand.

18:00 Revolutionise

This may prove the time to catch REVOLUTIONISE, who looks interesting back from a break having been fresh when gaining his last win. Riot, who holds obvious claims, is feared most ahead of Hot Chesnut, G’Daay, Sir Oliver and Maxi Boy in that order.

18:30 Intoxicata

In-form INTOXICATA holds particularly strong claims back over 7f turned out quickly. Poetic Jack, who may build on his latest effort, is second choice ahead of Last Date.

19:00 Outreach

Having gone close to winning his latest race, OUTREACH may be ready to strike. Indie Skies, who looks open to progress upped in trip, is feared most ahead of Adace whose recent 1m form puts her in the picture. Market support for long-absent Pontius should be heeded.

19:30 Maxzeno

The vote goes the way of MAXZENO who shaped quite well when fourth over 5f at Newmarket recently and is another 2lb lower here. Belle Fourche had little go right last time and had been placed on her two outings prior to that so she’s second choice ahead of last-time-out C&D runner-up Habooba, who has a wide stall to overcome.

20:00 Darlo Pride (NAP)

Anthony Carson’s DARLO PRIDE (nap) hasn’t finished out of the first two in his last four outings and may well be able to get his head back in front. Q Twenty Boy (second choice), Lion Ring and Sparked may give him most to do.

20:30 Cryptos Dream

Silver Bubble has a good shout after pulling clear of the rest when narrowly denied over C&D last Friday but a wide stall does have the potential to make life awkward so she’s taken on with the thriving CRYPTOS DREAM. Last week’s course success came over 1m but two turf wins prior to that came over today’s 1m2f and she can make it 4-6 since joining Jack Jones.
