13:15 Kempton – Earth King (The Times)

Stroll On By produced a good performance to win by 9l at Exeter three weeks ago and his proven chasing ability is a big selling point here, but today’s race looks quite a bit more competitive. Among the group of chasing debutants with significant potential is EARTH KING, who ran a big race in defeat on his handicap debut in March and is only 2lb higher here. He gets the vote ahead of Richhill, King’s Threshold and Touchy Feely.

14:05 Fakenham – Cuban Court (Daily Mail)

Top of the list is Neil King’s bumper winner CUBAN COURT, who is out of a multiple hurdle winner at up to 2m4f and looks interesting now switched to jumping over this longer trip. The main danger is Shinji, who was placed in a Listed bumper last season and made an encouraging start over hurdles when runner-up at Stratford last month.

14:40 Fakenham – Mistral Nell (The Sun)

Although MISTRAL NELL has yet to fulfil the promise of her bumper win here, some of her hurdle form gives her claims at this level and perhaps the novelty factor of moving yards will fire her up. Courtney Silver can prove the main danger, having shown much-improved form to win at Fontwell and having a stiff task on her only subsequent start, while Sinurita is also considered on the form of her penultimate start.

15:00 Kempton – Copper Coin (Racing Post)

Dargiannini and Irish Hill (preferred in that order) have similar profiles, in that they were in excellent form until two down-the-field finishes before their summer breaks. Both have big roles to play if back in form, but COPPER COIN ran a big race in defeat over C&D in April and his good record when fresh could be the key factor.
