18:30 – Codys Wish

CODYS WISH has a brilliant backstory and it’s hard to oppose him, even though his price isn’t backable! He’s won all of his races apart from when finishing third behind White Abarrio at Saratoga in August. He’s bounced back and won since so he should win.

19:10 – Warm Heart

This is a cracking race. Inspiral is stepping up to 10f for the first time which I’m not sold on, so I’m with WARM HEART with Ryan Moore on board. She’s probably surprised the Aidan O’Brien yard with how good she’s been and she has form on the ground so she could be hard to beat.

19:50 – Goodnight Olive (NAP)

I’m taking GOODNIGHT OLIVE even at her short price. My NAP of the card, in fact. She’s the defending champion and she’s a brilliant sprinter. She usually stalks the leaders then moves late on. She’s going to be hard to beat, especially in stall one.

20:30 – Mawj

I really like MAWJ and she’s the best filly in the race. She won in Keeneland in her first run since winning the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket in May and I’m not overthinking it, I fancy her to win again.

21:10 – Idiomatic

IDIOMATIC is the clear form pick and there seems to be a lot of holes in the outsiders. When you look at if there’s anything that can beat the favourite, I don’t see anything.

21:50 – Auguste Rodin & Up To The Mark (each-way)

Mostahdaf has been really impressive this year but I have concerns about Jim Crowley riding him. There might be too much traffic in front of him. I’m with AUGUSTE RODIN as I have a bit of a love affair with Aidan O’Brien’s runner.

He won the Irish Champion Stakes last time out, Aidan will have him ready and he’s going to get the ground he likes. People have doubts after his 2000 Guineas and King George bombs but I’m siding with him.

UP TO THE MARK could also be a value pick. He has a solid turn of foot and he beat Master Of The Seas at Keeneland last time out.

22:40 – White Abarrio

This is a world-class race. Ushba Tesoro is an interesting runner from Japan and Arabian Knight’s price looks a little short. I’m with WHITE ABARRIO and a reproduction of his run in the Grade 1 Whitney Stakes last time out should be enough to see him go really close.

23:25 – Aesops Fables

AESOPS FABLES is a decent price so I’ll side with him over Live In The Dream. He’s trending in the right direction and he was a good third behind Highfield Princess last time out at Longchamp over 5f. That was on better ground and he ran better.

00:00 – Elite Power

ELITE POWER looks solid enough and Speed Boat Beach has too much to find on the favourite. I’m not huge on this race but I’ll side with Elite Power.
