Gangster Granny was disappointing on her debut so I can only watch her this time and I’ve got doubts over Sumptuary Law. Orderofthephoenix ran really well last time out at Listowel and that form has held up. She should go really well and I see her as the one to beat.
Barnso is dropping down in grade and he sets the standard but I wasn’t in love with him during his run at Roscommon. I’m going against him with Harry The Rogue. Chris Hayes is on board and he’s impressed in his four runs. He’s making his polytrack debut and he can impress.
Cash Or Crypto has refused to race in the past but if he gets out of the gates, he could be interesting. Rocky Dreams is another potential winner too. I like Talia for Natalia Lupini the most. She’s well handicapped and she just got caught last time out at Dundalk. There’s plenty of pace in here to play to her strengths too.
Migdam is the most interesting Adrian McGuinness runner. He finished second at Punchestown a couple of runs ago and he put in a good effort at Tipperary earlier this month. He’s switching back to the all-weather track and that should suit him. Adam Caffrey is taking 5lbs off too.
Zurana is interesting for Pat Flynn but could be one for the future. Sioux Princess has a lot going for her and she comes into this on the back of her win at Dundalk in September over 1m4f. James Ryan is on board and he takes off 2lbs, so she could be well handicapped.
I’m very keen on Kampala Beach. He’s still very unexposed and he won a couple of runs ago at Leopardstown in August. He’s a course and distance winner and he’s well handicapped. He should be hard to beat for Mick Halford and Tracey Collins.
Golden Twilight is going to be very hard to beat with Dylan McMonagle on board. He’s got everything in his favour and his owner Frank Lynch is sponsoring this race, so he could get some of that money back by having the winner!
Kadeen has a good draw in stall one as well as having the weight allowance for Halford and Collins. He sets a really good standard against a few exposed runners. He’s still well handicapped off a mark of 75 and he hasn’t finished outside the top three in his four runs.
