WEIGH ANCHOR is a 52,000gns yearling by Nathaniel out of a 7f Flat winner. Showed fair form on the Flat when runner-up in two 1m3f maidens and is an interesting filly for jumping.
GOLDEN STRIKE made a very promising debut at Pontefract (6f, good to soft) last month, doing well to finish third having made a mess of the start then been forced to weave through runners from a difficult position (finished strongly). Leading player.
AYR POET Seems to handle any ground. Multiple 1m-1m2f winner in Scotland, including three times at Ayr during this consistent 2023 season. Ran creditably over 1m4f at Hamilton last week. Solid claims back down in trip.
ELHAM VALLEY is a four-time hurdle winner for Fergal O’Brien, most recently in selling handicap at Stratford (2m2f, good) last month. Bought for £8,000 afterwards.
